My Review
Israel has an important principle: It is only Israel that is responsible for our security. -----------Yitzhak Rabin
If you are someone who likes to read about real-life spy stories, conspiracies, politics etc. then you are in for a treat because this book by Michael Bar-Zohar and Nissim Mishal encompasses them all.
Authors have written about various missions carried out by the MOOSAD and each chapter can be read as a separate storyline and each of them will seize your attention, keeping your craving for more.
This book contains famous actions carried out by MOSSAD like the capture of the infamous Nazi criminal Adolf Eichmann who escaped after world war 2, about whom it was said that Perhaps no one besides Adolf Hitler was as obsessed with killing Europe's Jews as SS Lieutenant Colonel Adolf Eichmann. The way MOSSAD captured him is unbelievable and one can read this book just for this adventure.
If you have heard of legendary Israeli spy Eli Cohen, who was sent to spy in Syria and he was such a brilliant spy that it was said that he penetrated so much into the powerful circles in Syria that he was considered by the leaders of Syria to be made deputy minister of defence. His information while working as a spy is considered an important factor in Israel's success in the Six-Day War.
This book contains many other MOOSAD adventures like the eradication of Black September, the destruction of the Syrian nuclear facility, the elimination of key Iranian nuclear scientists and the rescue operations of Syrian virgins and Ethiopian Jews under operation Solomon.
This book not only contains the success of MOSSAD but its failed missions are inscribed too and that gives it a real touch.
I will recommend everyone interested in spy fiction to read this book once in their lifetime 😊
